APPLICATION SCIENTIST

Job description

As an application specialist, you fulfill an all-round role as an expert interacting with all departments within MOLECUBES. You are a key user of the CUBES, to enable high level scientific research and to generate strong marketing material. In addition, you interact with our customers which allows you to build a strong network.

• You are in close contact with our customers: You are responsible for providing customer training (both onsite and remotely) 
• You provide High level Application support, both internally and externally:
  • Assist customers in defining and fine tuning their study protocol, provide tips and tricks for optimal usage of the CUBES
  • Participate in challenging R&D projects
  • Provide Sales & Marketing support (e.g. prospect visits, customer demos, webinars, application notes)
• You like to discover the world via conferences (2-4 / year), via onsite customer training and sales visits (sporadically)
• You are involved in keeping MOLECUBES documentation up to date

Profile

• Master or PhD in biomedical sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, bio-engineering, biomedical engineering or similar
• Affinity with technology and biology
• Experience with preclinical imaging is an asset
• FELASA-B or C certificate is a plus
• Flexibility, willing to travel up to 30% internationally
• Fluent in English and strong verbal and written skills
• Organized and able to prioritize workload
• Able to work independently and within a team environment
