PET/CT at Ospedale San Raffaele

MOLECUBES and Radius have recently installed a preclinical benchtop whole body rat PET/CT in Milan (Italy) at San Raffaele Hospital and Scientific Institute, as a joint collaboration among the Institute of Molecular Bioimaging and Physiology of the Italian National Research Council (IBFM-CNR), San Raffaele Hospital and the Department of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan BicoccaThis state of the art set up allows  investigators in the area to access in vivo molecular PET/CT imaging in mice and rat. This preclinical imaging platform,  that is part of the European infrastructure framework Eurobioimaging, will foster research mainly in oncology and neurology axes and ensure training of a future generation of molecular imaging specialists in Italy. MOLECUBES is very excited with this first installation in Italy and is looking forward to be part of the future research projects with the preclinical imaging group at San Raffaele Hospital; a  Centre with an expertise recognized world wide in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
